Weeds - Season 1

Weeds, episode 10"The Godmother" - Airdate 10/10/05

Silas gets high on Ecstasy, Shane proves his bark is worse than his bite, Andy gets recruited, Isabella comes out and Nancy and Conrad go into business together despite Heylia's harsh tongue lashing. Log onto http://www.sho.com/site/weeds/home.do for more details.

Drafted
Andy's been called to war but he's already all that he can be; a lazy, homeless, stoner who mooches off of his sister-in-law.

Guppy
Isabella finally figured out the best way to wound an overbearing mother. Unfortunately, learning to navigate those mixed up bisexuals will take a little longer.

Juvenile
Shane's crying out for attention and Silas is growing up too fast. Maybe if one of those boys overdose on a special batch of chocolate chip cookies, Child Protective Services will hear my cries.

Creepy Pete
Nancy needs to stop looking her gift horse in the mouth, get down with the MIB and stay away from the DEA.

Weeds, episode 9"The Punishment Lighter" - Airdate 10/03/05

Nancy learns a pricy lesson, Shane begs for drugs, Silus acts out, Andy gets a job and Celia strikes back with a vengeance. Log onto http://www.sho.com/site/weeds/home.do for more details.

Whacked
Nancy got jacked by campus security. Lucky for her, her booty-call is a little higher in rank.

Pot Shot
Shane's been crying out for Prozac but needs Morphine after that punch to the jaw. Where was Silus when the L Word's Jenny needed a knuckle sandwich?

Babydaddy
Silas misses his father so he's adopting deaf Megan's as his own. Here's a question: What's worse; having a slutty, hearing impaired daughter, or a misguided, hormonal son?

The Bald and the Beautiful
Celia may have lost her hair, but her balls are bigger than ever.

Weeds, episode 8 "The Punishment Light" - Airdate 9/26/05

Nancy walks on the wild side, Celia spills the beans, Shane fights dirty, Andy and Doug smoke out a rodent and Lupita gets stuck with the rats. Log onto http://www.sho.com/site/weeds/home.do for more details.

Resourceful
Shane will win at all costs. If you can't beat the competition, you may as well bite them.

Removed
Nancy knows how to handle her shit. Sometimes it's simply about sex with no emotional entanglements.

Revealed
Celia flaunted her affair with Conrad because nothing spices up a marriage like jealousy and competition.

Ridiculous
Doug and Andy bogarted Nancy's stash and all Luptia got was a mess to clean.

Weeds, episode 7 "Higher Education" - Airdate 9/19/05

Nancy brushes up on "Dealer 101," Celia loses a breast but gains clarity, Shane masters Science and Andy takes one for the team. Log onto http://www.sho.com/site/weeds/home.do for more details.

That's Textbook
Maybe Shane's new science book will help him learn about the birds and the bees and the sleazy uncles.

Legal Tender
Dealing pot was all about the Benjamin's until Nancy got sacked with a bag of pennies.

Holy Mother
Celia's cancer scare helped her to realize that the rotten apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Once Bitten Twice Shy
The soccer mom thought she bit off more than she could chew with Andy until he showed his softer side.

Weeds, episode 6 "Dead in the Nethers" - Airdate 9/12/05

Nancy gets lonely, Shane demonstrates his flair for drama, Lupita uses newfound information to her advantage and Celia is cured of her jungle fever. Log onto http://www.sho.com/site/weeds/home.do for more details.

Death is Random
Nancy just can't catch a break. First her husband dies, and then her batteries. Oh the senselessness of it all!

The Terrorist
Although Shane's cry for help was finally heard, the same can't be said for the redheaded neighbor girl who wanted a fruit roll-up but got a gaping neck wound instead.

Job Security
Lupita found a bag of bargaining chips in Nancy's closet. Suffice it to say that there's a raise in her future.

Who Let The Dogs Out?
Conrad finally took Celia's puppies out for a walk. The question is; on which side of the tracks did they stroll?

Weeds, episode 5 "Lude Awakening" - Airdate 9/05/05

Uncle Andy visits the big house, Nancy gets her shootin' cherry broke, Celia exposes her vulnerability and Shane lets his freak flag fly. Log onto http://www.sho.com/site/weeds/home.do for more details.

Economics 101
When trying to become an entrepreneur, it's best not to smoke your own profits. And if you do, don't get busted by a rent-a-cop who's bursting with bravado.

Strange Botwin
Shane's been crying out for help by taunting bully's, shooting animals, selling blasphemous T-shirts and penning rap ditties. He's sad; so let's give the bitch-ass white boy a break.

Doll House
Barbie may have gotten her dream car back, but she also realized what she's gotten herself into. Now that Ken's dead she is forced to make a living selling dope instead of becoming a pilot, supermodel, astronaut or doctor. I'm thinking she should throw in the towel, head to Malibu and hang out with Skipper.

Foxy Lady
Something tells me that even without the Quaalude and martini Nancy could have persuaded Celia to take her clothes off.

Weeds, episode4 "Fashion of the Christ" - Airdate 8/29/05

Uncle Andy brings trouble, Celia faces mortality, Nancy and Doug scout out faux dough locations and Shane finds religion on a T-shirt. Log onto http://www.sho.com/site/weeds/home.do for more details.

Fortune Cookie
Beware of brother-in-laws bearing gifts. They're usually after something… like your son's girlfriend, school yard booty or a cut of your profits.

Hypochristians
Do you think if Shane tithed his T-shirt sales those religions fanatics would embrace a little humor? You'd think they'd be laughing seeing how the bible is most hilarious work of fiction ever written, and all.

Wake Up Call
Just when you think things can't get any worse, God drops a case of frozen cola through your bedroom ceiling. Celia shouldn't fret about the cancer. Her dull and monotonous life will kill her first.

Orchids
Someone should tell Nancy that the candy man is really an aggressive bull dyke who hits on vulnerable women. Just ask the L Word's Tina.

Weeds, episode 3 "Good Sh#t Lollipop" - Airdate 8/23/05

Silas learns sign language, Shane goes hunting, Celia experiences Karma and Nancy gets an education. Log onto http://www.sho.com/site/weeds/home.do for more details.

What's cooking
Nancy learned the difference between no-brand and gourmet the hard way.

Isa-smelly
If Isabel learned anything from her mother; it's how to get revenge.

Switch Hitter
Who can blame Celia for her interest in Nancy? If we're lucky, pot-brownies won't be the only thing these girls eat.

Impaired
Silas deserved more than a case of blue balls for his bad behavior.

Steakout
While hopped up on fruit punch, Shane took out an eye with his BB gun. Thankfully, this time it was not his own.

Weeds, episode 2 "Free Goat" - Airdate 8/17/05

Silas broods over Quinn's sudden absence, Shane takes a fall, Celia confronts a tennis whore, Nancy runs short on cash and Doug devises a front. Log onto http://www.sho.com/site/weeds/home.do for more details.

Idiot Savant
Who says smoking pot destroys brain cells? Doug's money laundering ideas seemed pretty brilliant to me.

Ambien Alert
Celia's got revenge down to a science. Nothing says payback like shorn locks and cocktails with the mistress.

Cash Cow
Nancy should have kept her ring and pimped out Silas instead. There's a sugar daddy around the corner and everything!

Neglected
Someone needs to place a call to Child Protective Services for Shane's sake. First he fell through the skylight, and then he broke his arm. Why don't we just knock his teeth out and call it a day?

Weeds, episode 1 "You Can't Miss the Bear" - Airdate 8/7/05

This new Showtime comedy will leave you fiending for more. Log onto http://www.sho.com/site/weeds/home.do for more details.

Smokin'
In the debut episode of this promising comedy we meet Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker), a recently widowed housewife who turns to selling marijuana in order to keep her family afloat. Celia Hodes (Elizabeth Perkins), is her nosey neighbor who seemingly has it all together, but is really hanging on by a thread. This show looks like a winner and even if it's not, you can't go wrong watching these amazing women find their way in cutthroat suburbia.

Isabelly
So Celia's daughter Isabella has a little weight problem. It's not easy being chubby when your mother is beautiful, just ask Chastity Bono.

Blackmail
What's a dealer to do when she finds out that the teenager she sold weed to is selling nickel bags to 10-year olds? She finds out that he's gay and threatens to tell his father, that's what.

Naivety
Just when you think you have it all figured out, you realize that you know nothing at all.
